Vladimir Potapov, Chief Executive Officer of VTB Capital Investment Management entered the list of the 1,000 best managers in Russia, taking first place among senior managers of financial asset management companies in the ranking by ?Kommersant? and the Association of Managers ?Top 1000 Russian Managers?. This is the second consecutive year that Vladimir Potapov has received this award.
Vladimir Potapov is responsible for the strategic and operational development of VTB Capital Investment Management. Under his guidance total assets under management have risen to more than 374 bln rubles. His active work has allowed VTB Capital Investment Management to rank among the top asset management businesses in Russia.
In 2015 Vladimir already ranked first place among senior managers of financial asset management companies in a ranking by Kommersant and the Association of Managers “Top 1000 Russian Managers”. Vladimir Potapov received a ?Reputation-2015? award for the nomination ?For contributing to the development of the industry of collective investments?. In 2014 Vladimir received the Financial Elite Russia award for his contribution to developing the Russian asset management market. In 2013 Vladimir was awarded the Higher School of Economics’ alumni award for his contribution to improving the ?reputation and leading position of Russian business on the global market? under the corporate business category. In 2011 he received the Spear’s Russia Wealth Management Award for his efforts in developing the industry for managing private capital.
The annual ranking of ?Top 1,000 Russian Managers? has been published in the newspaper ?Kommersant? since 1999. It assesses the professional activity of managers at major Russian companies and identifies the leaders in their industries and functional areas. The rating was based on a poll of market participants. The number of nominees exceeds five thousand people. The rating is addressed to representatives of the business community and the general public.
